Pixie Wright

Pixie L. Wright has taught instrumental music for four and a half decades. She has been a music instructor for harp, guitar, piano, 5-string banjo, dobro, ukulele, and, of course, the dulcimer. Her students have ranged from the age of 3 to the age of 87.

Pix has taught in the public school system, at a private music school, at music stores, and in her own music studio. She has also taught at dulcimer festivals, such as Nutmeg Dulcimer Festival in Connecticut and Mountain Dulcimer Music Fest in New York.

She is a member of Saint Thomas Dulcimer Society in the Harrisburg, PA area and the Central PA Ukulele Club in Hummelstown, PA.
