It Depends: A Song History

← Back to Browse By Song

"It Depends" is the last of the fourteen pieces listed for DulciFlute 2, John Keane and Karen Keane's second volume of duets for mountain dulcimer and Native American flute, published by Fingers Of Steel.[1] The download contains the full 25-page book, a separate PDF for each tune, and a folder of 28 MP3 recordings of the songs.[1] The listing describes the book as offering "a slew of original songs" from the two Keanes, but it does not credit individual pieces, so it does not say which of them wrote this one.[1] Based in Shreveport, Louisiana, the Keanes both earned music education degrees at Northeast Louisiana University, now the University of Louisiana-Monroe, and between them they have released several books and CDs of their own compositions for dulcimer and flute.[2][3]
