Chicken Fer Supper: A Song History
"Chicken Fer Supper" is an original mountain dulcimer song by Mandy Tyner, who sells it on her Banjo Lemonade website as a single tab in DAA tuning.[1] A post on her site, which offers tabs in DAD and DAA tunings, says she wrote it with her daughter, Amber, in the style of old-time songs.[2] Tyner teaches mountain dulcimer and clawhammer banjo, online and near her home in the North Georgia foothills, and posts free weekly lessons on her Banjo Lemonade YouTube channel.[3]

She includes it in Strummer's Delight: Beginning Dulcimer In DAA Tuning, a 30-page book of beginner arrangements for strumming in DAA tuning, published by Back Porch Publishing.[4] The sources consulted here record no other performers of it.[1][4]
